Excursions and School Camps are important learning and socializing experiences, and are part of the school program. You will be advised by class teachers when an excursion or school camp is being planned. Such advice will explain the nature of the activity, arrangements, costs and clothing requirements. Since learning experiences obtained are integrated into, and therefore become part of, the school program, children who are prevented from attending these activities can be seriously disadvantaged and this can be reflected in school results. Written permission from parents is required by law before students can leave on camps or excursions.
