|All Saints are now on Twitter
From the feedback we have received on our new eNewsletter, it is being well received by our parent community. The addition of video and colour photos have made for a more exciting and interesting newsletter. The last paper edition of the newsletter was sent home to all families on Tuesday 15th July 2014. A few copies of a paper version will be printed each week and kept in the office. Please get into the habit of reading the newsletter online.
Congratulations to all our students who will receive their First Communion over the weekends at either side of this week. These students and their parents have been preparing for this event for a number of weeks. Our prayers and best wishes are with these students during this time.
SENIOR ATHLETICS CARNIVAL
Congratulations to all students who participated in last Friday's Senior Athletics Carnival. Despite the windy conditions, the students participated enthusiastically and all events were completed on time. Congratulations to the Mollison House who won the team points on the day. Age champions will be presented on assemblies this week. Thanks to all staff and parent volunteers who helped the day run smoothly. Your assistance was very much appreciated. Special thanks to our new PE and Sports Teacher, Mr Marc Hughes, who organised a successful carnival after only being with us a short time. Our Junior Athletics Carnival will be held at All Saints this Friday, beginning at 9:00am.
Congratulations to the children who attended the combined practice for Brisbane Sings on Sunday. They did a great job representing our school with 500 adults from many choirs throughout Brisbane. Brisbane Sings is held at the QPAC Concert Hall on August 10. Forty of the All Saints Chamber Choir children will be performing with children from the Queensland Show Choir and singing combined numbers with many Brisbane Adult Choirs. This year the theme is Michael Jackson! Tickets can be purchased from QPAC.
