Celebrating Catholic Education in Queensland

Welcome to our website...

All Saints Parish Primary School at Albany Creek strives to be a welcoming joyful community where everyone is accepted, encouraged, forgiven and inspired to achieve a balanced life. We are united in celebrating the Catholic faith and working for justice and peace. We aim for the holistic development of each child and excellence in learning while preparing our students to promote harmony in our world.

Community News

SCHOOL UNIFORM SUB-COMMITTEE
At last week's P&F meeting, there was some discussion around reviewing the school sport's uniform. Therefore, I will be reforming the School Uniform Sub-Committee to review the School Sport's Uniform. This process will start in early term 3. If you would like to be a part of this committee, please let me know before the end of the term. I anticipate meetings will be held after school.  A full community consultation process will occur with any changes that the Uniform Sub Committee propose.

NEW STUDENT COUNCIL
Yesterday we had our induction liturgy for our Year Seven Red student councillors. We congratulate these students and wish them all the best for the role that they have taken on. We also congratulate and thank Year Seven Blue for their wonderful leadership of the student council for the first thirteen weeks of the year.

APRE UPDATE
This Friday Year Four Green will be leading the school in prayer. All are welcome to attend our prayer assembly at 2:15pm, this Friday in the church.

This weekend we have the first of our Sacramental Masses at All Saints. Our thoughts and prayers are with all of the students who are making their First Communion and Confirmation. We pray that through the celebration of these sacraments that the lives of the candidates become enriched by the love and faith of Our Lord.

SPORTS NEWS
Congratulations to our school Rugby League team who competed in the Development Cup last Friday. The children played well and won 3 out of 4 games. A full report will be in next week's newsletter.

Good luck to our QC Netball Cup teams who compete at their championships next Monday. A draw for the competition and umpiring assignments will hopefully be handed out this Thursday.

Good luck to our children competing at the North District Cross Country titles next Monday.

Congratulations to Josh for his selection in the North District Touch Football team. Good luck at your championships!

DISCO
On Friday the 18th of May we will be hosting our first disco for the year. This year our disco will be open to students in Years 5, 6 & 7 and will go from 7pm to 9pm. To help make the disco a success we are looking for parent volunteers to help on the night. If you can assist with supervision, helping in the tuckshop, etc please return the slip below. Your assistance is highly valued.
