In 2019 All Saints worked on producing our PB4L (Positive Behaviours for Learning)
matrix for explicitly teaching desired behaviours that promote learning within and beyond
the classroom. This year we begin the year with the whole school focusing on introducing
and teaching the behaviours that are based on our school motto – WALK, We Respect, Act
responsibly, Learn Together, Keep Safe.
As students begin displaying the taught behaviours teachers will award stickers to them
based on the aspect of the WALK they have been displaying. The coloured stickers are seen
below, and hopefully soon you will see your child coming home wearing one of these award
stickers. We encourage you to engage in conversation with your child about their award and
celebrate their success. Every week on assembly the whole school community will
congratulate them when any child who has received an award during that week will be
Further to these sticker awards are the certificate awards that will be given out on assembly.
Each child will receive one award throughout the year when they have displayed some
exemplary behaviour from the matrix. The photo of these students will appear in the
next published newsletter. As the newsletter is published fortnightly there won’t be an
opportunity to publish award winners prior to the assembly. We hope you can celebrate this
achievement when students bring their award certificate home.
