Celebrating 175 Years of Catholic Education in Queensland

I share with you a section of a newsletter written by our Executive Director, Ms Pam Betts as Catholic Education celebrates 175 years in Queensland this year:

“Pope Francis encourages us to:
Look to the past with gratitude, live the present with passion and embrace the future with hope (The Year of Consecrated Life: 2014)

We are grateful for the foresight of the people who established the first Catholic School in Queensland in 1845 and the many religious women and men who dedicated themselves to those pioneering years of Catholic education. Brisbane Catholic Education stands tall and strong on the shoulders of the many religious women and men who went before us.”

All Saints Parish School is privileged to stand tall with the now 142 schools throughout our Archdiocese. We celebrate our story which enters its 31st year.
