Here are some excellent online cybersafety resources which you and your child might find useful. These resources have been created to provide information to kids, parents as well as teachers and schools.
 
Cybersmart:
This website has been created by the Australian Government and has a number of excellent resources. There are sections for children of different ages to participate in interactive games and activities. There is also a fantastic parent section with an excellent guide to online safety, information about parental controls as well as a great blog where you can post your own questions for experts to answer.
 
Creep Quiz:
This site is highly interactive and engaging and allows for you and your child to explore the different types of people that they might encounter online. It is very important for children to understand the globally connected world in which they live. They need to be aware of the wonderful things that this world allows, but must also know about the potential dangers.
 
 
Stay Smart Online:
Stay Smart Online is another fabulous resource with information and links for both parents and kids. The "Kids and Teens" section provides information about cyberbullying as well as strategies that parents can use to ensure their child does not fall victim. There are a number of external links which provide further information on a range of topics. The Budd:e site is an excellent online resource to use with your child.
 
 
Safe Schools Hub:
Another site developed by the Government, the Safe Schools Hub has separate sections for kids and parents. The parent section contains videos, articles and links to other cybersafety resources which you might find useful.
